A classic made stronger: Xenon & Xenon Net — now up to 130 kg
Profim has officially increased the weight capacity for two of its iconic collections: Xenon and Xenon Net. Chairs equipped with SL and SFL mechanisms have been rigorously tested and are now certified for up to 130 kg.
Some things only get better with time—and the Profim Xenon chairs are a perfect example. When the Polish manufacturer announced the upgraded weight capacity for this bestseller, we were thrilled. A chair we’ve long recommended to our clients has just become even more versatile.
Xenon: twenty years without compromise
The Xenon collection was created in collaboration with the Nuremberg-based studio ITO Design—a firm specializing in office furniture since the late 90s. The designers were given a simple brief: to create a chair that provides comfort for the widest possible range of users while remaining a beautiful centerpiece for any interior.
The result is a chair featuring a signature J-shaped graphite connector that bridges the backrest, seat, and mechanism into a single sculptural form. The Xenon Net complements the line with a breathable mesh backrest—a solution particularly valued in warmer offices or during intense work sessions.
What’s changed? Models featuring Synchro SL (synchro with seat slide) and Synchro SFL (with additional forward tilt for seat and backrest) have undergone independent testing and are now certified for up to 130 kg. This update expands the chair’s target audience while confirming the superior engineering of its design.
Available in SL, SFL, and Self STN variants — featuring automatic weight adjustment that adapts to the user without manual calibration.
Flexible Configuration
High and low backrest options, headrest, coat hanger, and 3D armrests with adjustable height, depth, and width.
EPD Certification
Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) — providing transparent information regarding the product’s environmental impact throughout its entire lifecycle.
In interior design, office chairs are among the most "hard-working" elements—both literally and figuratively. A well-chosen chair performs for 8−10 hours a day over many years. Increasing the Xenon’s weight capacity to 130 kg means this solution fits every employee—eliminating the need to search for "specialized" models in separate categories.
"The next position is always the right one." This principle of dynamic sitting is built into the Xenon’s DNA—the chair is designed to follow the user’s movement, not restrict it. Now, this philosophy supports an even broader range of users.
The collection is available in a wide range of upholstery options — from soft fabrics to high-density technical textiles. For the Xenon Net, the headrest offers additional customization: it can be upholstered to match the seat or finished in Runner mesh to create either a sleek monochromatic look or a bold contrast.
