Green Offices in Warsaw — A New Direction in Contemporary Workplace Design
Warsaw has been undergoing a remarkable transformation in recent years. Once known primarily as Poland’s business hub, the city is now becoming a leader in sustainable workplace design. More and more office buildings are being created or modernised with environmental responsibility in mind — not only to meet standards such as BREEAM or LEED, but above all to provide healthier, more thoughtful spaces for the people who use them every day.
This shift starts inside the buildings, in the way offices are designed. A modern workspace is no longer just a collection of desks — it is an environment meant to support wellbeing, reduce energy consumption, use materials responsibly and remain aesthetically cohesive. With every project, we take a holistic approach: how the space will function, how it will affect its users, and what kind of environmental footprint it will leave over time.
Sustainability in office interiors rarely comes from a single solution. It often begins with lighting — we select energy-efficient LED systems combined with intelligent DALI controls that reduce energy use while enhancing visual comfort. Materials play an equally important role, shaping both the atmosphere and the long-term performance of a workspace. In many of our projects, we use Mohawk flooring, which combines design quality with environmentally conscious production, as well as PET acoustic panels from Narbutas, made from recycled materials and helping improve acoustic comfort.
In today’s open-plan offices, acoustics have become essential. Framery acoustic pods naturally complement these spaces, offering quiet zones for focused work without the need to expand or rebuild the office layout.
Another pillar of our approach is the principle of reuse. Before any furniture or equipment is discarded, we explore whether it can be restored, repurposed or integrated into a new layout. It is a simple yet highly effective way to reduce the environmental impact of fit-out projects.
The result is office spaces that are contemporary, refined and consciously designed. Warsaw’s workplaces are increasingly reflecting the direction in which the European property market is heading — toward environments that care for both people and the planet. And these are exactly the kinds of offices we aim to create: beautiful, functional and designed with genuine responsibility.
